Wow, right?!
Well, this is what was shared with me by one of our Foundation’s global partners recently.

While speaking with a group of students, former highly recognized (or so we thought!) persons were brought up during the discussion.
“Is he a rapper?”
This was a response by a student to a statement made about Malcolm X!
The immediate adult reaction was a long pause of enlarged eyes and a wide open mouth.

You can’t blame the student entirely, however.
Learning comes from all forms and fashions.
Most importantly, learning should start at home.
Are you discussing history at home? 
What magazines, artwork, videos, and books may be found on your coffee table, on your walls, on your TV, and in your bookshelves?

Nowhere?
Start somewhere.
